For medium to high outputs: steel grid resistors

Steel grid resistors are made from stainless steel resistance grids, which have a high overload capacity due to the alloy used. This distinguishes Spohn + Burkhardt resistors from many competitors, who mostly use cheaper alloys for reasons of cost. The large surfaces give off the heat well and are therefore ideally suited for high performance. These resistors have the highest possible temperature resistance, the melting point is well over 1000 ⁰C.

The individual steel grids are built in a frame and built into our housing. This enables the entire resistor block to be exchanged easily in the event of a fault. All connections are easily accessible by removing the front cover.

At the customer's request, there is also the option of wiring the connections to separate connection strips in the lower area of the resistor, which enables the connection lines to be installed even more easily.

Thanks to its large ventilation slots, the housing guarantees good air flow and optimal cooling. It can be attached either to the wall or to the floor and is of course also suitable for outdoor use. Stable ring eyelets facilitate transport and assembly.
